Very nice food also for vegetarians! A bit pricey but not unreasonable for what you get. Service could have been a bit faster, but overall a good experience!
Overpriced and low-quality food - even by lowly Dutch standards. Brazenly exploits the lack of restaurants in the area.
The hotel's name is made up so the tourists would not be able to pronounce it. Cheap trolling does not work on me though - I am a polyglot, and it took me just a couple of minutes to perfect it.
It was quite crowded, but still the staff was able to serve us well, quickly and friendly. I had a vegetarian burger, which was delicious!
The restaurant decor is beautiful. The view is incredible and the terrace is large. The food and coffee is usually very good. It's a bit expensive. The staff are friendly, helpful and quick. After you are served, though, you don't get checked on, so plan on making that morning coffee last since you won't get the chance to order a second cup.
Suitable restaurant for bigger groups or a business meal. Food is excellently prepared. The menu choices quite straightforward. Service is friendly and caring (but somewhat distracted or understaffed and needed to be reminded to finish some drink orders)

Don’t visit this restaurant. There can be found better places easily. Second time we have a disappointing experience so please be warned.
You probably don’t expect the end of the world when visiting Van der Valk however not even able to do the basics right is disappointing. We visited this because of grand fathers birthday and we ordered a 3 course menu.
The quality of the starter was at best average.
Main course was really low quality, factory like
prepared and overcooked for every three options that were served.
Then the dessert. Difficult to do it wrong however they can by making a crème brûlée like a pudding and the chocolate dessert without the wipped cream.
Staff was ok, professional like service
Did not make pictures but otherwise would have add those to give you a better idea what to not expect ;)
The food was good, staff friendly. We had opted for the special rate meal, but after seeing some other diners ordering from a different menu with more choices, we would have done that instead.
